Are fertility treatments in Korea covered by insurance for residents or international patients?

Hi, my cousin moved to Korea with her husband, they were trying to conceive and looked into fertility treatments. She found out that for Korean residents, many fertility treatments like IVF are partially covered by national health insurance, especially if they meet certain age and medical criteria. But for international patients, the coverage is very limited, and most treatments are paid out of pocket. She ended up visiting Second Spring Women’s Clinic, where she was treated by Dr. Seon-Hwa Jeong, who made her feel very supported through the whole process. The clinic explained all costs clearly and even helped with paperwork, which was a big relief. While insurance didn’t cover everything for her, the care she received was warm, professional, and well worth it.
