From the very first consultation, Dr. Kim was incredibly thorough and honest. He explained exactly what went wrong in my first surgery and how he could fix it while keeping my nose natural and balanced with my face. Unlike my first experience, I felt completely heard and reassured.

I’ve been through a revision rhinoplasty myself, and I can totally relate to the importance of finding the right surgeon for this delicate procedure. I had my first rhinoplasty done a few years ago, and while it improved the overall appearance of my nose, I wasn’t completely satisfied with the results. Over time, I realized that the shape wasn’t quite what I had hoped for, and I knew I would need a revision to get things right.

I did a lot of research, particularly looking for experienced surgeons in Gangnam (which is known for its high-quality clinics), and that’s when I came across Human Plastic Surgery and Dr. Kim Kook Hyun. After reading great reviews and seeing positive patient stories, I decided to schedule a consultation.

From the very beginning, Dr. Kim put me at ease. He listened carefully to my concerns about the previous surgery and really took the time to understand what I was hoping to achieve with the revision. He explained the limitations and possibilities of revision rhinoplasty, including how he would approach the surgery to avoid any more complications or unrealistic results. His attention to detail was impressive, and he assured me that he would work with my natural anatomy to create a result that was subtle, but aligned with my vision.

The surgery went smoothly, and the recovery was much easier than I expected. Dr. Kim’s expertise in revision rhinoplasty was evident; he corrected the issues I had with my previous nose while making sure everything looked harmonious with my face. I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the results—my nose now looks natural, and the asymmetry from the previous surgery is gone.

What I appreciated most about Dr. Kim Kook Hyun and Human Plastic Surgery was not just the amazing result, but also the personalized care. The clinic made sure to follow up regularly to monitor my recovery and ensure that I was happy with the progress. If you’re considering revision rhinoplasty in Gangnam, I highly recommend Human Plastic Surgery. Dr. Kim is incredibly skilled, and his approach is patient-focused and results-oriented.

My Life-Changing Revision Rhinoplasty in Gangnam – Honest Review & Why I Chose Hugo PS Global

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re considering revision rhinoplasty—and I get it. Going through a nose job once is nerve-wracking enough, but having to do it again? That’s a whole new level of anxiety. I went through this exact journey, and after months of research, consultations, and self-doubt, I finally took the plunge in Gangnam, Seoul. Here’s my story, the ups and downs, and why I highly recommend Hugo PS Global for revision rhinoplasty.

Why I Needed Revision Rhinoplasty

My first rhinoplasty (done elsewhere, not in Korea) left me with: Breathing issues – I couldn’t sleep without feeling congested. Asymmetry – One nostril was higher than the other. Bridge too high & unnatural-looking – Looked fine in photos, but in real life, it felt off.

I tried to convince myself it wasn’t that bad, but the more I looked in the mirror, the more I knew I needed a fix, not just a touch-up. That’s when I started looking into revision specialists in Gangnam.

Finding the Right Surgeon – Why I Chose Hugo PS Global

Revision rhinoplasty is way more complex than a primary rhinoplasty, so I needed a surgeon who truly understood nasal structure, aesthetics, and function. I spent weeks researching, reading reviews, and looking at before-and-after photos before I found Hugo PS Global.

Dr. Seonghyeok Yang & Dr. Woong Heo are experts in revision rhinoplasty. Their work focuses on both aesthetics & functionality, which was a game-changer for me because I needed to breathe properly again.

Clinic: Hugo PS Global Website Dr. Seonghyeok Yang

Consultation – A Totally Different Experience

The consultation was incredibly detailed. Dr. Yang actually listened to all my concerns, examined my nose structure, and explained exactly what needed to be done to fix the functional and cosmetic issues.

He didn’t overpromise or suggest anything unrealistic. Instead, he gave me realistic expectations and a customized surgical plan. That’s when I knew I was in the right hands.

Surgery Day – The Nerve-Wracking Part

I won’t lie—I was nervous. Revision rhinoplasty is more complicated, and I was scared of ending up worse than before. But the team at Hugo PS Global made me feel so safe and cared for.

Procedure: Under general anesthesia (so I felt nothing). Time: Around 4-5 hours. Post-Surgery: Woke up feeling puffy but surprisingly not in much pain.

Recovery – The Emotional Rollercoaster

Let’s be real—recovery is not fun, but it was so worth it.

Week 1: Super swollen, bruising was intense (looked like I lost a fight ). Week 2: Swelling started going down, but tip still felt big. Week 3-4: Finally looking normal—I could see the improvements. Month 2-3: Complete transformation! My nose looked natural, symmetrical, and best of all—I COULD BREATHE.

Final Results – Was It Worth It?

1000% YES. My nose finally fits my face naturally. No more breathing issues. Confidence? Through the roof.

I truly believe that finding the right surgeon is everything when it comes to revision rhinoplasty, and I couldn’t have made a better choice than Hugo PS Global. If you’re considering it, I highly recommend booking a consultation with Dr. Yang or Dr. Heo. They are absolute experts in fixing botched noses and delivering natural, functional results.

From the very first consultation, Dr. Kim put me at ease. I was a bit nervous, given my previous experience, but Dr. Kim’s thoughtful approach and attention to detail gave me confidence. He took the time to explain why my first surgery didn’t work out and how he would go about fixing it. He assured me that the goal was not only to improve the aesthetic but also to ensure proper functionality for breathing.

What I really appreciated was how natural and subtle his approach was. I didn’t want anything too drastic or dramatic. Dr. Kim’s philosophy was to work with the existing structure of my nose, enhancing it without completely changing my face. The whole process felt collaborative, and I knew I was in good hands.

The surgery itself went smoothly, and the recovery was much easier than I anticipated. It was a bit uncomfortable, but Dr. Kim’s team provided amazing post-op care and guidance. A few years ago, I had my first rhinoplasty. I was so excited, thinking it would give me the refined, natural nose I always wanted. But when the swelling went down, I was devastated. My nose looked uneven, the tip felt too high, and there was a slight breathing issue I never had before.

At first, I tried to convince myself it wasn’t that bad. But every time I looked in the mirror or took a photo, I couldn’t unsee the things that bothered me. That’s when I knew I needed revision rhinoplasty.

I started researching top clinics in Gangnam, where some of the best plastic surgeons in the world are based. One name that kept coming up was Hugo PS Global, known for their expertise in complex revision cases. I read reviews, checked before-and-after photos, and decided to book a consultation with Dr. Seonghyeok Yang—one of their specialists in revision rhinoplasty.

During the consultation, Dr. Yang took his time analyzing my nose. He explained that revision cases are much harder than primary rhinoplasty because of internal scar tissue, weakened cartilage, and the need for structural support. Instead of just “fixing” my nose, he focused on creating balance and function, ensuring my breathing issues would also be addressed. What really impressed me was his customized approach—he didn’t just suggest one method but gave me options based on my facial structure.

The surgery itself went smoothly, and the post-op care at Hugo PS Global was excellent. They checked in on me frequently, making sure my healing was on track. The swelling took time to go down (as expected with revision cases), but once the final results settled, I was beyond happy. My nose looked natural, symmetrical, and completely suited to my face. Most importantly, I could breathe normally again!
