How does Korean medicine pain therapy work to relieve chronic back and neck pain, and what techniques or treatments are usually involved?
Korean medicine pain therapy usually focuses on improving blood flow and reducing inflammation using acupuncture, herbal medicine, and cupping. I tried it for chronic neck pain, and after a few sessions, stiffness and headaches reduced noticeably.
The idea is to treat the underlying imbalance causing pain, not just the sore spot. They used acupuncture and Chuna therapy on me, and after a few visits, my neck mobility improved a lot. I was referred by a friend who had similar issues.
