Is sclerotherapy effective for large varicose veins or only small ones?

Is sclerotherapy an effective treatment for large, bulging varicose veins, or is it mainly suitable for smaller spider veins? Can it fully treat bigger veins, or would additional procedures be needed?

Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution into veins so they collapse and fade over time. It’s very effective for small spider veins and medium varicose veins. In my experience, really large, bulging veins usually need additional procedures like laser or surgery to fully treat them.
