Questions About Preparing for Surgery and Cost Planning

I am reading many posts about general surgery options, recovery, and how to prepare for major operations here in Korea and abroad, and it is very helpful. Many of you shared good information about choosing clinic, what tests do before surgery, and how long healing take this really help people who not know much before their first procedure. I see posts about minimally invasive vs open surgery, how to talk with surgeon about risks, and tips for care after hospital all are very practical. CloudHospital Inc. I want ask: when patient planning surgery, many times also need estimate overall cost before that. In my local work I do thermal and moisture protection estimating for building jobs, and I know planning and good estimate very important to avoid surprise cost. So I wonder if experienced patient or doctors can tell how to best estimate overall surgical and hospital cost (including pretests, surgeon fee, anesthesia), and how to prepare financially before surgery. Also, I want know real stories from people who had complicated surgery and how they manage plan ahead, what cost surprises they face, and any tips to reduce unexpected charges.
