Has anyone undergone knee replacement when both knees had joint problems? I’d really like to hear about your experience how the surgery and recovery went, whether both knees were treated at the same time or separately, and how it affected your mobility and daily life.
When both knees are in bad shape, the recovery can feel a bit tougher because you can’t depend on one side to support the other. Early on, even basic movements like getting up, walking a few steps, or using the bathroom can feel more difficult than expected.
In my experience, having help during those first couple of weeks is really important. It takes some time to adjust, but with proper rehab and patience, things gradually get better it just requires a bit more support and planning in the beginning.
