For eyelid retraction correction, what are the potential risks?

What are the potential risks and complications associated with eyelid retraction correction surgery? Specifically, what issues might arise during or after the procedure, such as infection, scarring, over- or under-correction, dry eyes, or vision changes, and how common are these complications?

I had eyelid surgery for retraction, and recovery was mostly smooth. The eyelids were a bit puffy and dry at first, but that went away. Over- or under-correction is something to be aware of, but it’s usually minor. Complications like infection or vision issues are very uncommon.

I had eyelid retraction surgery last year. The main things I noticed were swelling and some dryness for a few weeks. My eyelids ended up exactly where they should, but there’s always a small risk of over- or under-correction. Infection or scarring is pretty rare, and I didn’t experience any vision changes. Overall, it was a smooth recovery.
