For those who have undergone minimally invasive meniscus repair surgery, how long did your full recovery take, including regaining mobility and returning to daily activities or sports? What strategies, exercises, or precautions did you find most helpful in speeding up the healing process, and were there any unexpected challenges along the way?
I had minimally invasive meniscus repair, and walking felt decent after 3–4 weeks, but full recovery took around 4–5 months. Physical therapy was the biggest factor quad strengthening, hamstring stretches, and balance exercises helped a lot. I also iced regularly and avoided twisting movements early on.
